Here's something kind of cool- I took the notes from our first conversation and put them into Wordle, which takes the text and makes a visual representation. If you click on the image, you can see a larger version. The bigger the word, the more times it was mentioned in our conversation. What do you think?
I have a question about how to proceed with another visioning conversation that's been ongoing for a few months. I reached out to all the meditators and mindfulness practitioners a few months ago. There are at least 30 people on this list who are interested in strengthening and formalizing contemplative practice at the church. I promised them I would call us together to talk and explore this more. And I haven't made/found the time to call that meeting. I would love help with this. I could ask people in that group to help, and should. And maybe there should also be a vision representative there? Is there such a thing as a topic-specific visioning meeting? ReplyDeleteThe Futures Team meets regularly to plan our vision conversations. Since we are trying to organize possible groups based on commonalities it seems that Margaret's idea is a good one. When we meet again (tonight, in fact) I will make sure we discuss this. Thanks for your thoughts Margaret!
